Location: Umfolozi Game Reserve is now part of the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi National Park and is situated 280 km north of Durban. It is the oldest proclaimed park in Africa and covers 960 sq km (96,000 ha) of hilly topography in central Zululand, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The park is known for its rich wildlife and widely recognised for its conservation efforts, particularly for ensuring the survival of the endangered black and white rhino.
