Location: The St Lucia Crocodile Centre is administered by Ezemvelo-KZN Wildlife, the body entrusted with eco-tourism and conservation in
South Africa's KwaZulu-Natal province.
The croc centre, situated near the town of St Lucia on the north coast of KwaZulu-Natal,
has on display all the African species of
crocodile, viz the Nile, Long-snouted and Dwarf crocodile.
Some of the biggest crocodiles in South Africa can be seen in the large enclosures, while informative and educational
exhibits show how these fascinating reptiles have survived for millenia.
The nearby St Lucia Estuary is one of the tourism focal points of the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park,
a recently declared World Heritage Site.
