Location: Situated in the northern part of South Africa's KwaZulu-Natal province, Ndumo Game Reserve covers an area of about 9 000 hectares. The reserve, bordering Mozambique, is renowned for its abundant and varied bird life, with some 430 species having been recorded.

For the visitor, Ndumo offers a number of attractive pans surrounded by tall fever trees and wetlands, while the surrounding acacia savannah, thick riverine bush and sand forests provide excellent game viewing opportunities.
