Location: Mashatu is a private reserve in the Tuli Block area of Botswana. With Zimbabwe to the north and South Africa to the south, this remote area offers visitors a diverse wilderness of savannah, riverine forests, marshland, plains and rocky outrops

Although not as popular as Botswana's Moremi Game Reserve and Chobe National Park, there is abundant wildlife and the area is known for its large herds of elephants. More than 350 species of birds have been recorded in the Tuli region.
