Location: Mkuzi (Mkhuze) Game Reserve, situated in northern KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa,
was proclaimed a protected area in 1912. The 40,000-hectare reserve is renowned for bird watching and boasts
a bird list well in excess of four hundred.
The diversity of habitat that characterises Mkuzi is able to accommodate a wide variety of wildlife - meaning
visitors will often see rhinoceros, giraffe, blue wildebeest, hippo, and a variety of antelope, including
elegant nyala and kudu.
