Location: Chobe National Park, the second largest park in Botswana, covers 10,566 sq km. It extends
from the Chobe and Linyanti rivers in the north, down to Moremi Game Reserve in the south.
This massive park has one of the greatest concentrations of game on the African continent,
including the world's largest elephant population, estimated to be around 120,000.
A highlight of any safari to Chobe is definitely a sunset cruise down the Chobe River,
watching huge herds of elephants and other game congregate along the water's edge as the
setting sun bathes the river and surrounding bush in a luminous glow.
