Location: The Lower Zambezi National Park in Zambia
covers an area of 4,090 sq km. Situated on the northern bank
of the Zambezi River, it enjoys about 120km of outstanding river
frontage.
On the opposite side of the wide river is Zimbabwe's Mana Pools National
Park, a World Heritage Site. Larger animals like elephant and buffalo negotiate the river to cross
freely between the
two parks and on both sides of the river there is an impressive variety of wildlife to be viewed and enjoyed.
As a result Lower Zambezi offers a memorable safari experience, with activities ranging
from traditional game drives to canoeing and sundowner cruises.
