Location: Chobe National Park, which extends from the Linyanti and Chobe rivers in the north, down to Moremi
Game Reserve in the south, is the second largest park in Botswana.
Covering an area of 10,566 square km, Chobe has one of the greatest concentrations of game in Africa,
including an elephant population of around 120,000.
Anyone visiting the small tourist town of Kasane in northern Botwana on the Chobe River should
definitely take a sunset cruise on the river as this allows spectacular views of the large herds of
elephant and other game that congregate on the water's edge at sunset.
