Location: Mashatu Game Reserve is a 26,000-hectare (64,000-acre) reserve situated in the remote eastern corner of Botswana known as the Tuli Block. Bounded to the south by South Africa and to the east by Zimbabwe, the Tuli Block is a diverse wilderness of savannah, riverine forests, marshland, open plains and rocky outrops. It is rich in wildlife, including large herds of elephant and predators such as lion, leopard, cheetah, jackal and hyena.
