Location: Mkuzi (Mkhuze) Game Reserve, situated in northern KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, was proclaimed a protected area in 1912.

Predominantly flat and dry, with sandy ridges formed from ancient dunes, Mkuzi comprises an interesting diversity of natural habitats. Because of this, the reserve is able to accommodate a wide variety of wildlife and is both accessible and affordable as a safari destination.

There are two hides overlooking waterholes that provide excellent opportunities for taking wildlife photographs.
