Location: Tala Private Game Reserve is a small game and nature sanctuary within easy driving
distance of Durban on
South Africa's east coast. The reserve's mix of acacia thornveld and open grassland is home to a diversity of
wildlife and provides good opportunities for taking picturres of rhino, zebra, giraffe and a variety of antelope,
including the stately kudu and elegant nyala.
Tala is unique in that it is surrounded by agricultural land and semi-urban development, yet much of this is
hidden from view once you are in the reserve. The animals have grown accustomed to vehicles which makes it
relatively easy for those on safari to view and photograph the resident wildlife.
