Equipment: The photograph was taken with a Canon EOS film camera and Canon EOS 80-200mm F2.8 lens, using slide film.

Location: The Lower Zambezi National Park in Zambia covers an area of 4,090 sq km. It is situated on the northern bank of the Zambezi River and enjoys about 120km of spectacular river frontage.

On the opposite side of the river is Zimbabwe's Mana Pools National Park, a World Heritage Site. Animals can cross freely between the two wildlife sanctuaries. As a resulte wildlife is prolific and varied, but the area is renowned for its large herds of elephant and buffalo.
