Royalty Free License1. Usage RightsThe purchase of a photograph from Wildlife Pictures Online gives the purchaser a non-exclusive right, in the form of a royalty-free license, to use the photograph for commercial and non-commercial purposes. Photographs purchased under the aforementioned license may be used for any of the following:
2. Usage LimitationsThe right to use purchased photographs is granted solely to the original buyer and may not be transferred to any third party. Copyright to the photographs remains with Wildlife Pictures Online and/or the photographers who took the original photographs.The original photographs may not be offered for resale, exchange or free distribution, via the Internet, by CD/DVD or any other physical or electronic media. This restriction includes using the photographs for creation of screensavers (other than for personal use), and for creation of website templates and calendar templates. If photographs are used on websites or blogs, notice must be given to readers that the photographs are published under copyright and may not be freely downloaded. (You paid for the use, don't give it away free to others). If photographs are incorporated in new products for sale, for example screen-printing on a garment, the photograph may not constitute the main value of the end-product. (In other words, you may not simply re-sell the original images in a different guise, for example by having photographic prints made and selling them in expensive frames). This limitation does not apply where a photograph has been used as the inspiration for new and substantially original artwork. So you can use a photograph as the basis for a painting and sell signed prints. Photographs may not be used in any way that is pornographic, defamatory, or unlawful. 3. Limitation of LiabilityThe photographer and copyright-holder can in no way be held liable for any damages, including loss of profits or other consequential or incidental damages, arising from purchase of this licence and/or use of the photographs.4. Refund PolicyBecause you can check whether a particular photograph is suitable for your needs by downloading a full-size, watermarked version using the TRY IT option, we do not normally offer refunds for photographs once they've been downloaded.However, if you experience technical problems while downloading photographs, I will do my best to resolve them. If the problem persists to the extent that you cannot use the purchased photography for its intended purpose (eg faulty or incomplete download), then you will be entitled to a full refund of the purchase price. Refunds for photographs that have been purchased and successfully downloaded will only be considered under very special circumstances (eg the purchased image differs materially from the image displayed on the website). Please advise via our Contact Form -- within 14 days of purchase -- why you require a refund. For practical reasons, all purchases are considered final after 14 days from date of purchase and requests for cancellation or refunds will not be entertained after the expiry of this period. 5.
