Video 1

This first video (1m 54secs) is less a review than a promotional clip, so it's really just a basic first look at the camera, but still useful to get an overview of the P510's main features.

Our next selected video (5m 28secs) by ThatNikonGuy provides sample images and some concluding thoughts about the P510. The video finds the interface and ease-of-use "reasonaby good if you're used to a Nikon".

Optics are "surprisingly good" and this, combined with the versatile 42x zoom lens, should make the camera "a real hit with travelers". The video concludes with a slideshow of images taken with the P510 but this is not very helpful when viewed at a small size.

This longer clip (7m 28sec) by Technobuffalo reviews the Coolpix P510 in some detail. The presenter's style might not appeal to everyone and he's not afraid to criticise some aspects of the camera.

He finds the full-time autofocus in video mode (when following action using video) to be poor, and also didn't have much success using the built-in GPS.

On the positive side, he finds the P510 provides excellent bright-light images, macro shots, and good overall image quality.

Our final video (1m 58secs) - a "photo and video safari" using the Coolpix P510 - is a series of stills and videos of birds and animals taken in an animal park. It's short, fun, with no talking, and does give a general look at the sort of still and video clips you can get of captive wildlife.
